Chris's Autobiography

Christopher Gewehr

When I was about two years old my family would often take trips to the beaches of South Hampton where my grandfather lived. It was on one of these trips that I had my first words. Attired in a bathing suit and water wings I was sitting on the beach with my family when a huge horsefly happened to come upon me and bite me and the first thing I ever said was, “fly bit my butt!'. Ever since then I've had a penchant for saying inappropriate things at inappropriate times.
My name is Chris Gewehr, I'm sixteen and I live in Mamaroneck, New York. I'm around six foot even with medium long brown hair and brown eyes. My life has been shaped by my friends and my family. In my family I have my mom, who is a petite blonde businesswoman and my dad, who is a tall dark haired businessman. My brother, Russell, is nineteen with bright orange hair and my sister is twenty one, about 5'8'' and works for a fashion company. My family is very important to me, since I was a little kid my brother has been my playmate and my sister has always looked out for me. My parents are both caring, responsible adults who have done everything in their power to help me.
Some activities that I like to do are, scuba dive, longboard, eat good food, see new places, and hang out with my friends. My friends are also very important to me and influence me in everything I do. Just last year my family went to go see my sister who was doing a semester abroad in Athens, Greece. We went to see the Oracle at Delphi, the Parthenon, the Temple of Poseidon, and many other places. This opened my eyes to the wonderful world of travel, and ever since than I've had a burning desire to travel through the US and Europe.
All these things make up who I am and influence what I do in everything. My life is like a chocolate sundae, alone all the ingredients are only okay, but when put together they make an awesomely delicious cool treat. So far I feel that I have been very lucky in life, I was born to a wealthy family with parents that care and are both hard working, I have lost my way several times but thanks to my parents I'm now on the right track.
